Auto Assault Update 3

So the third update to AA is now live, I wish I had something to say about it, but the entire premise of the game didn’t really grab me (which is unfortunate, because they were trying something new and I hate to quash that kind of ingenuity). I had a 14 day free trial a while back (not long after the game’s release) and I had a few big problems, most of which, if the Patch Notes are to be believed, have been fine tuned or fixed.

Of course, I can’t justify myself spending any money on a game which I’m not sure I’ll even like (especially considering my history with it). Okay, not entirely true as I dropped over $100 today on games that I may or may not begin to play regularly, but that’s different, it’s research (I swear).

Anyway, if you are an AA player I would love to hear your thoughts on the changes that have been made in all the updates. Is it good enough to really start playing now? Should I spend my time playing, and if so, why?
